Update For Web3D ART

Dr. Steve Guynup, Web 3D Consortium's 2010 Art and Design chair, has posted this update to Web3D Art on Renderosity:

We are looking for online virtual art produced by students or recent graduates in the past 3 years. Any genre of online 3D art is acceptable including musical works, galleries, sculptures, works of theory, and interactive installations. Of particular interest are immersive poetic works that highlight the relationship between story and space. Realistic story-based worlds are acceptable, but unconventional spaces driven by unconventional narratives are preferred.

We are hoping to find several promising developers that are willing to share their talents with both veteran and pioneering designers of the web3d community at large.

Submission deadline is July 10.  Works will be showcased online and be available to conference attendees in the Web3D Symposium's Art Gallery Space on July 24th & 25th at the Los Angeles Convention Center. SIGGRAPH 2010 runs from July 25th to July 29th.

For more information, feel free to email me at willis.web3d@gmail.com or visit www.web3ddesign2010.com. Thank you.

As you see, the deadline has been extended, so hurry.

Read it here at Renderosity.

In the page says "This is not a juried event. " so I suppose there is none. It's for students so I suppose it gives you C.V.
