The new viewer for Openlife is out and is mandatory to enjoy the improvements in the Openlife Grid. Download it here.
It is available for Windows, Mac and Linux.
This message has appeared on OpenLife Xchange today 3/8/2009:
"WARNING:
Someone is posting an unsolicited addition to 16.3 already called "The Remedy." Noone knows what this so-called "upgrade" may do. It may contain trojan horses or viruses. It may send your login information to some other site and or it might literally steal your currency in Openlife. Since this so-called "upgrade" was not created by 3DX and is not endorsed by 3DX, extreme caution should be exercised!"
So you must only download the application from the official links provided here, and not install that patch, that is dangerous.
