Blender 2.57: The New Stable Release

The new stable version of Blender is out for you to download. At last a stable version of this new 2.5 branch, that turns Blender into a more modern, powerful and easy to use modeler.

If you are a newcomer to Blender but have used other 3D modelers before, you will soon notice that one gets used soon to the new interface, which is completely customizable, neat, and modern.

Blender now has many of the features that some time ago were only available in very expensive modeling packages. In addition, the huge community of users and the extensive documentation that you can find in the Internet can help you to learn it if you dedicate some time for that.
