AC3D Can Import Triangles And Boxed Objects Into SL:

Omind), administrator of the World Builders And Developers community, and one of our most valued readers, has called our attention about the affordable modeling program called AC3D (only $79.95). AC3D has plug-ins for importing triangle (.tri) and boxed objects into Second Life. Read more here. AC3D can also export to VRML and X3D.
